Refer a Friend to OCES!
  Receive a $25 credit towards your next course! canadian money
That's right, bring your friends and you can reduce the costs of your cool summer classes! We are offering a $25 credit towards your next course for every new student that you sign up.

Whenever a new student signs up and pays for classes at OCES, they have the option of indicating who referred them to the school (by email address). For each new student who lists your email address as their reference, you receive a $25 credit towards your next course here at OCES.

Welcome to the eLounge!

When you log in to your classes at OCES, check out the new eLounge menu item in the "My Courses" menu. eLounge is your portal to the OCES school community outside of your virtual classroom. Drop on in to talk to other students from around the world and to meet students taking other courses.

The eLounge includes two bulletin boards (like the discussion boards in the virtual classrooms), as well as three live chat rooms for instant communication with other students. Two of these are general chat areas (safe chat areas where you can discuss anything from gossip to sports or even discuss your classes), and the third is a peer tutoring room where you can go to help others or ask for help with your course work.

The difference between the eLounge and the other courses is that the eLounge is open to all enrolled students and staff, allowing you to chat or discuss events and classes with people outside your classroom environment. With a student body from around the world, you can interact with students from down the street, or oceans away.

Summer is Here!

With summer officially just around the corner (one week from the summer solstice - the longest day of the year), it is time to start thinking about summer activities, like biking, hiking, swimming and just lounging around under the sprinkler.

It is also time to start thinking about summer classes. Whether reaching ahead or catching up, OCES is your coolest option in summer education. Why bus or drive into school every day when you can study and learn in the comfort of your own home?

Sign up now for summer courses to beat the rush when the current semester is over. You can sign up now, choosing to start your course in a week, a month, or even later into the summer. And don't forget the referral offer above to make your summer education cool and cheap!
