Work experience from your own home
We have finalized our E-Cooperative Education
program at OCES. This provides students with the
opportunity to learn and practice important job
skills before entering the workforce. Each e-Coop
placement provides students with 100 to 200 hours of
work in a variety of work fields, all while working
independent of the business location.
Using a computer and email a student can work in a placement from his/her own home as a one or two credit course. Students work at a variety of tasks based on what courses they have completed in the past, with placements such as web design, data entry, video production, graphic design and journalism. Regardless of the placement, the employer emails projects and tasks to the student. The student emails progress reports and the finished product back to the employer.
